Donate To our Crusade for Safe, Accessible and Quality Education
As the educational world continues to adapt to the changes brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic, what has become clear is that this risky health environment has necessitated institutions to take on commensurate financial risks to ensure that the quality and accessibility of educational services do not suffer. As CRCS prepared for the 2020-21 school year, we determined that taking such risks would be necessary to continue the delivery of our education program. While keeping our fees unchanged, we prayerfully and diligently made a very significant investment in mitigation (protective partitions, hand washing/sanitizing stations, additional on-site professional cleaning services), staff, and technological resources to ensure that we would have the capacity to operate an in-class and virtual program concurrently. The virtual program, which employs live streaming equipment in seven classrooms, has afforded access to those families preferring such an option. Also, given the experience of the 4th quarter shutdown at the end of the 2019-20 school year, we were determined to make a transition to such a future possibility as seamless as possible. Hence our investment in our enhanced network capabilities along with the purchase of portable devices (i.e. Chromebooks) for every elementary student.
The benefits of these investments have made them clearly justified. We have elevated and enhanced our capacity to deliver a state-of –the-art education. But this enhanced capacity has not come without an impact on our budget. Hence, we are launching a fundraising program to enable families and other supporters of the Crusader community to participate in these investments. We do this with the full acknowledgement that this is not, nor has it ever been, the norm for us. And we do not make such a request lightly. We have set the goal of raising $150,000 between now and June 30, 2021. Raising these funds will significantly reduce the budgetary pressures created by the expenditures deemed necessary to provide these services. Donations can be made via our Fundly.com link. We clearly felt led to take a step of faith. Now we are asking for you to consider joining us in this journey through prayerfully considering a donation to our TAP (Technology Advancement Program) initiative.
My 2 sons have attended CRCS since Kindergarten. We absolutely love the teachers, administrators, and strong Christian emphasis! We only hope others will join in and cause the school to grow and increase to include a 7th, 8th, and even high school levels!
This is our third year at CRCS. We are very pleased with the education that our children are receiving. The teachers are caring and supportive. The new Administrator is approachable and does a good job communicating with families. The curriculum is well rounded and challenging. I like that it is a smaller school. This provides for more individualized attention and your child is not lost in the crowd of endless faces. There is a “family” feel to the school. I highly recommend CRCS.
This is our first year here and my kids are really enjoying the school. You will never find a perfect school and there may be one or two things that you might not like, so overall we are pleased. I’m pleased with the curriculum and very glad that they added art this year. The new administrator is trying to make changes for the better. Again it’s like anything else in life, you won’t and can’t please every parent. We are reenrolling and we would recommend this school to new perspective parents.
Calvary Road Christian School is an excellent choice! My child has attended the school for 3 years and we could not be more pleased with the superior academic curriculum, Christian worldview, and friendly staff. Each and every staff lives out a Godly example and inspires students to grow in their relationship with Christ. I oppose the previous post in that the administrative team (including all office staff) are friendly and eager to help. The tuition is very reasonably priced for the northern Virginia area, thus making a quality private school education affordable. The new administrator has excellent vision and communication. Overall, I give Calvary Road Christian School a rave review. Please don’t be dismayed by a single parent’s perspective, for this is not an accurate portrayal of the school.
My son has been attending Calvary Road Christian School since he was 3 years old. This is the BEST Christian School in the ENTIRE NOVA area.!!!
I would encourage any parent who wants to invest in their child’s spiritual and educational future to visit the campus and meet with the staff. They are vested in educating your children in all disciplines and offer state of the art technology. When it comes to progress reports and knowing how your child is doing you don’t need to look any further. Parents receive WEEKLY reports and the teachers respond to emails/voicemail in a very timely manner. I’m looking forward to the continued growth of CRCS and the Christian education they are providing. Keep up the good work!
